Iran army's ground forces continue drills in Southeast
On the second day of the maneuvers, the army has successfully test-fired newly developed Toofan interceptor missiles. A domestically-made hand-launched drone was also unveiled in the drill. The drone called Farpaad can cause disruption to other drones within the range of three kilometers and gets them out of control. The exercises are aimed at increasing readiness and mobility of military units in response to potential threats. The ground forces' operations are supported by the Air Force and Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base. Iran frequently holds military maneuvers aimed at increasing its defensive capabilities.
